  11. Since 3.1.1, you will need to re-crypt all of your passwords with
  12. "ircd -P <method> <pass>" again! You must also re-do your
  13. configuration files. 3.2 is a major update from 3.1. Don't try
  14. compiling 3.2-Selene yourself if your a beginner

  19. UnrealIRCd is an IRC daemon whose key features include full
  20. SSL support, Trojan protection, and WebTV compatibility. It
  21. is a highly stable and feature-packed IRC server daemon.

  24. Installation:

  26. Extract the archive to a place of your choice, make an Unreal:
  27. assign to the Unreal directory. Rename the ircd file you want
  28. to use (nossl or ssl, both are hub) to ircd.

  30. Then configure unrealircd.conf to suit your needs.

  32. Use "ircd -P <method> <pass>" to create passwords for your O-lines..

  37. Type in a shell/cli window the following:

  40. Run <>NIL: ircd
